Message from the Chairman of the Open International University for Complementary Medicines and Medicina Alternatlva

It is my privilege and pleasure to welcome the delegates to the 46th World Congress of Integrated Medicines. Also, a very special welcome to our delegates from abroad.

Alternative and Complementary Medicine has certainly become an accepted modality in healthcare. There is a universally recognizable patient population that seeks treatment with alternative therapeutics. Also, it is time for new programes to offer patients that seek alternative medicine modalities and integrate them into conventional medicines.

Message from the Hon:Gamini Lokuge

Dr. Anton Jayasuriya was an eminent physician who was trained in England, United States and later The People's republic of China.

It was China that stimulated his intense interest in the art and science of traditional medicines; this interest and this passion would lead him to develop these arts here in Sri Lanka and the rest of the world
